Thinking Spring and “Bustin’ a sag”

(note: This post is going to be two-fold and completely unrelated between 1 and 2.) First, I was trying to find an older picture to post today, and I started off by thinking that it has been COLD in DC for the past few days, probably an average of 15 degrees (thats -9.444444 repeating degrees Celcius.)
Cold weather thoughts made me think about spring being around the corner, and so an old picture of the new Nationals Stadium under construction is today’s posting. It was taken nearly 6 months ago, so construction is much farther along by now. That link has a live webcam of the progress. It is slated to open in time for next season! Go Nats!
The 2 fold of the post has to do with a new term I learned from Matt today. I came home from the gym with my adidas pants hiked down a bit because they are already a little short for me, and I was trying to avoid freezing cold (see above) ankles. The conversation went like this:
matt: why are you bustin’ a sag?
me: *confusion* (no response, pause) Excuse me?
matt: why are you bustin’ a sag?
me: I do not understand this term.
Matt proceeds to Google the phrase in order to explain it’s meaning. The best explanation is a picture found here… Can’t say I’d ever heard that before.

Bustin’ a sag…..pretty common verbage among the delaware crowd (read: ghetto…).
