C-A-P-S Caps Caps Caps!

I took this photo of Alexander Ovechkin at a Capitals NHL game earlier this season, but I’m posting it now in celebration of their big win last night. The Caps have 2 games left to play in the regular season, and they are now tied for first place in their division. Washington hasn’t had a good ice hockey team for plenty of seasons now, so this is exciting news for anyone in the area who even remotely follows hockey.

You think they won’t break your heart again? I remember watching them lose in the playoffs too many times to remember in the 80s. And I’m a Red Sox fan. I have experience with being heartbroken over sports teams that fade in the crunch (although not so much recently, there, amazingly enough). Oh well. Let’s hope and enjoy.

Great pic, Ovechkin is one of, if not the best player in the league. Good luck in the playoffs, my team didnt make it again. I am for the St. Louis Blues.
