Marilyn & JFK

Every so often, DCist.com has a Touch-Up DC Contest where you are supposed to use some Photoshop fun to enhance a DC monument, street, or scene. This was one of my submissions from last week–my photoshop work on one of Matt’s photos. Can anyone (not living in DC) guess what’s fake here?

Marilyn looks like she belongs there but JFK looks fishy to me…

    Great shot!

I agree with the JFK fishyness

Oh, I know! I know! Pick me! Pick me!

Oh, wait. Never mind. I live here. :-(

Great picture, though. I had a moment of panic the other week when I went out to photograph this real part of this picture and couldn’t find it. For some reason, I had it in my mind it was the northeast corner of Connecticut and Calvert. Imagine my relief when I found what I was looking for on the northwest corner, right where it’s always been. Phew!

snapper and Val are of course correct :)
