A Great Bicycle

What a crazy bicycle! I have never seen another one like it. You could fit a ton of stuff in that gigantic basket, and I bet the owner of it does. I wonder though, what is the point of the smaller front wheel and the crutch to prop it up?

    How funny that our two photos of bicycles ended up side by side on the portal. Yours is called a “porteur” and is much more common in Europe than in North America. Here is the Wikipedia link

    Smaller front wheel = deeper basket. Crutch type stand prevents it from tipping over with basket full of heavy groceries etc,

    Maybe it has been modified to help someone with some kind of physical limitation?
