new lease

We signed a new lease over the weekend!!! but don’t worry, we’re only moving about a mile on down the road. We’ll be closer to Dupont Circle, and have LOTS more room to spread out across our English basement apartment. We also have a backyard patio area, which hopefully means the return of the grill!! And finally, and most importantly, we are now a three minute walk to Mr. Yogato !!

If this is the new place, I love it. Looks like a lot of history has transpired there. But what the heck is Mr. Yogato?

That pic is of the new place! It’s over 120 years old, and it was designed by the same architect who designed The Cairo, once the District’s tallest building. There would definitely be some great stories if the walls could talk!

i didnt know you guys were moving. if you need to use my truck/have someone break in the new place ala eating all your cheese and crashing on your couch, you have my info!

you’re moving???!!! thanks for filling me in on your life!!! but that is exciting – more reasons for me to come visit. cool new building, kinda creepy though, let’s hope it’s not haunted like my place in new orleans…………..
