Well, the flippin’ Federal Government got a snow day today, but for the rest of us it for was digging out, crawling over, and sloshing through what was left behind by the Blizzard of ’09. I was still in my PJs this morning when I found out that Metro service at above-ground stations had resumed, just in time for the commute. So no matter about that 4 foot wall of snow blocking my car into it’s spot, I was out of excuses and it was off to work. It’s been a quiet day though, metro was pretty much empty anyways, compounded by the coming holiday and those with vacation days left to use up. Oh, and yeah, happy first day of winter!
