It’s hard writing a blog everyday. I don’t know how Lori and Matt keep up on it, or even find enough interesting things to rope us in and keep us coming back for more. I haven’t even written anything in the past 2 days and today I’m struggling. I haven’t been at work for the past couple of days because our friend Ellie was visiting me and I had to take her out on the Bmore-DC town. We went to trivia night where I geniusly came up with the final jeopardy answer of “The Flying Dutchman” (only because of The Simpsons), but we still came in second place. Which is so unfair because it was the 2 of us being drunk losing out to a group of 8 people in power suits…. clearly indicating intelligence. Then the next day we trotted all around Bmore and then went down to DC to meet up with some people at the Georgetown Waterfront. It was a blast from the past no doubt.

Well here’s your picture for the day. Don’t get too excited. I’m sure those of you from Federal Hill will recognize the local celebrity being featured. His name is Tony and he resides in the Light Street Liquor store. Every time I’m in there people are always talking about him and taking pictures. I finally one day (clearly I go in there alot) asked the owner what his name was. In his broken English very reminiscent of Mickey Rooney’s offensive portrayal of Mr. Yunioshi in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, he replied “Tony…. you know like Tiger. Grrrrrreat.” My guess is that Tony weighs a solid 90 pounds, but I try to steer clear of him ever since he took a swipe at me while I was reaching on the bottom shelf for some Burnetts.

ps- This post is dedicated to Marybeth, #1 fan of Tony.
