Discovery April 17th, 2012

   

Matt caught a cool shot of Space Shuttle Discovery, mounted on a 747, on it’s way to Dulles this morning, a final voyage before retiring with the Smithsonian. SO COOL!! YEAH SPACE EXPLORATION!!!!

   Cool pic! Hate to burst your bubble though, but it looks like the age of space exploration is over for a while. Got too many covert wars going on to pay the NASA bill. Unless you think Richard Branson and all his cronies are gonna led the way to Mars and beyond. I hope they do, but I have my doubts……..only time will tell…….

   It is crazy to think that the Voyagers are still chugging along though, out past Neptune almost on the edge of our solar system right now as we speak. I hope that radio feed connection holds up…….
