Jump for joy

I usually do a yearly wrap up on all the things we’ve accomplished in the past year, write resolutions, and take a lot of time to reflect around the new year. But, now that we are already a week into 2013, I’m feeling like I’m running late this year. Not that I haven’t been reflecting at all, I’m just feeling super-pressured to write something meaningful down, but I don’t know where to start. It’s funny because I think I’ve taken more pause for thought this year than most, though I can’t say why. Maybe because I feel a lot of milestones flying by – finally finishing my MFA, becoming an aunt (!!!), feeling stable and successful with my work, inching closer to 30… Yeah, maybe it’s easier not to write or think too much and just keep sailing on. :)

That said, I thought I’d share one of my favorite pics of the past year of Bowser, flying through a field. It’s a little hard to see in the picture, but that is just absolute bliss right there on his little face, not even a foot on the ground, unadulterated joy. That is pretty much how I’m feeling about 2013, YEEEHAWWWW!
