Another alley photo for your Wednesday afternoon. It looks like cars haven’t made their way in or out of here in quite some time. Maybe the owner just uses it as a storage area, accessed only from inside. Either way, I’m picturing all sorts of creepy things beyond that door.

This alley looks like a great spot for some free throw practice.

I’m not really seeing red today or anything, but that’s the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this photo. I’m actually in a pretty GREAT mood — fall is finally here and the weather is cooled off, the Redskins have a winning record, my fantasy football team is now at 2-2 after a rocky start, pumpkins are popping up everywhere, got a care package in the mail from Jami (with chocolate!), Jill and I had a great yoga class last night and then a dinner of savory pie while watching old Glee episodes… yeah, lots to smile about actually. Happy Tuesday, everyone!

That title, yeah, that’s probably what we should have named this blog, since we post so many pictures of just that. And yet, it just didn’t flow off the tongue as easily as Juxtaexposed. This tiny child’s bed is one of the creepier things we’ve come across on the street, though. Maybe because it doesn’t really look discarded, per se. More like someone just threw out a perfectly good looking kid’s bed for no reason. It’s so clean looking. Hopefully someone just hit a growth spurt and outgrew it and is onto their very first big-kid bed. Either that, or they were just setting up to camp outside for one night. It’s a mystery.
