Brigid and I went to see Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert last night at the First Mariner Arena in Baltimore. We drank beer out of cups shaped like guitars and cowboy boots and sang along to every tune in our best twangy voices. YEEHAW! Love me some country music.
Yesterday evening we attended Liz and Ivan’s wedding at the Rusty Scupper in Baltimore. It was a beautiful evening for an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Inner Harbor. There was a quick downpour that occured right at the end of the service, but it made for a memorable start to the night, and no one melted, in fact it ushered in some nice cool weather for dancing on the porch at the end of the night.

Yesterday was a beautiful day at the ballpark! The Nats avoided being swept by the O’s, winning 9-3 in the third game of the series, and saving me the shame of having to watch my fellow O’s fans in attendance break out their brooms (and/or golf clubs, if you are Tommy). We enjoyed some NATchos and beers, got to watch Stasburg’s first career home run (following a homer by Flores, no less), and cheered for Teddy in the President’s Race, even though Teddy still didn’t win. JJ also made best buddies with 4-year old Avalon and her creepy monkey Claire, who were sitting in front of us. They owe us ice cream, a hot dog, and a Nats hat next time we see them at the game, and we won’t forget. YEAH Nats! Gotta love a sunny Sunday at the ball game.

Today’s L O V E photo is brought to you from Baltimore, MD and the Visionary Art Museum – it’s the building we were married in, and this Polaroid was actually one of our table place markers. I love how the expired film (thank you, eBay) is all messed up. In fact, it was so old that it started leaking photo goo on me after it popped out of the camera.
