Another alley photo for your Wednesday afternoon. It looks like cars haven’t made their way in or out of here in quite some time. Maybe the owner just uses it as a storage area, accessed only from inside. Either way, I’m picturing all sorts of creepy things beyond that door.

That title, yeah, that’s probably what we should have named this blog, since we post so many pictures of just that. And yet, it just didn’t flow off the tongue as easily as Juxtaexposed. This tiny child’s bed is one of the creepier things we’ve come across on the street, though. Maybe because it doesn’t really look discarded, per se. More like someone just threw out a perfectly good looking kid’s bed for no reason. It’s so clean looking. Hopefully someone just hit a growth spurt and outgrew it and is onto their very first big-kid bed. Either that, or they were just setting up to camp outside for one night. It’s a mystery.

Just when you thought the blog was gone forever… I finally post another photo! Matt snapped this shot with his cool new Android Retro Camera app, so that’s why it looks all retro-like. It was taken underneath a southwest portion of the Southeast-Southwest Freeway, otherwise known as the massive tangle of roads that cut off the lower portion of DC from the rest of the city. Looks like a pretty good set for a thriller, yes?

Bowser loves photography. He was jumping up and down and barking (making gremlin noises) excitedly in front of this print in our upstairs hallway for a few minutes. Finally we realized the smoke alarm on the ceiling directly above it was chirping to indicate that it’s time to change the batteries. It’s more fun though to think that our dog really likes artwork and not just beeping noises. Little guy has ups!!

Ahhhh Friday. Time for the weekend and a little Rest and Relaxation. Thank goodness! We have a full plate of things to do, people to see — a long training run before the Baltimore Half Marathon in 2 weeks, looking at houses on Saturday, and watching McNabb and the Redskins beat the Eagles.
